Updates for today.
Yesterday I uploaded Stretch, a catchy CD by me. Fun. Also, my brother’s joined the gallery and will soon be joining the blog. Also in the news this week, I put the Pictomush logo in the gallery AND I tried to add adverts to the top, they displayed perfectly in Safari but fucked up in Firefox, which is annoying. I’ve removed them but you’ll notice them on the front page, and I will be thinking up new places to insert ads. Today i’ll add a new song to the archive, might dance a bit.

Digital Waterfall, and updated homepage.
Ok, I uploaded my oldest surviving work, Digital Waterfall, to the Season3 Archive section. It’s alrightish, kinda, but i’m sticking to my promise of one release a day!
In other news, I slicked up the Pictomush homepage by simplifying it. I’ll also be accepting suggestions for new sections, and if you want a big file stored I guess I could donate some room. 500GB is a lot of room to play with!

The gallery.
So yeah, the gallery is basically my way of replacing the original Pictomush, but, still being able to claim the Pictomush name as a place to upload my own stuff. I don’t expect the gallery will take off, but i’ve taken a slightly different approach which might work. Everyone who signs up gets their own album, they can upload their pictures in these. Albums that were updated later will be nearer the top. Flawed system? Yes it is. It means that people who want to get popular will just keep making minor edits, but I don’t expect the gallery to ever become popular, so I don’t think it’ll be an issue. I’ll be upgrading the theme soon and replacing the Gallery logo with my own sexier one. I’d appreciate it if you signed up and uploaded some shit, just for teh lulz.

Ah yes, an album I made back in 2006, oh good times.
Yeah I just uploaded Public Footpath, one of my old albums, to the Season3 archive right here on Pictomush. If you can’t be bothered to find it yourself, here it is. Notice I zipped i, AND let you download tracks individually if the description grabs your attention! I’ve got 500GB and I’m gonna bloody use it!
I’m going to try and add one album a day until all my stuff is hosted. That involves making pages, writing descriptions, digging up the album art, linking it all up, converting and zipping music files. It’ll take a while but when it’s done this is gonna be SLICK.
